Following a sudden rise in fuel and petrol costs carried out by the regime in Iran, the people have taken to the streets in protests. This action was carried out on Fri 15th Nov which saw fuel prices become 3x more expensive. The people began their protests against this, which started out with people switching off their engines in the streets and staging protests. Since then there has been no indication that the people will stop their protests and demonstrations any time soon despite a government crackdown.
The regime’s supreme leader Ali Khamenei, has ordered the Revolutionary Guards and other suppressive forces to open fire on the demonstrations in different cities. The number of those killed keeps rising with the IRGC giving out a statement which warns of 'decisive action' against the protesters. The regime has also cut off the Internet completely to conceal the scope of the uprising and the scale of its brutality.
